The exhibition includes 150 sketches, storyboards and paintings, ranging from children’s books to design concepts for theater productions. “Wild Things Are Happening: The Art of Maurice Sendak,” at the Columbus Museum of Art through March 5, is the first retrospective of the artist’s work since his death in 2012.
